Pattern

Ch 6 ss in the first ch to make a ring.

Beg round--ch 5 sc into ring, one 5 chain space made, make 3 more 5 chain spaces, for the last space, ch 2, dc into the first sc. (6 spaces)

Round 2-- ch 3(makes beginning dc throughout pattern)into space-- 1dc, ch2, 2dc Beginning v-stitch cluster made. ch 3, in next space, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) continue around, ss to first ch2 space to close round (6 v-stitch clusters)

Round 3-- repeat round 2

Round 4-- ch 3, 1dc, ch2, 2dc, *ch 3 pull the ch 3 space from round 1 and round 2, sc, ch 5, sc in the same space making a ch5 loop, ch 3 2dc, ch2, 2dc* continue around, ss to first ch2 space to close round (6 v-stitch clusters, 6 ch5 loops)

Round 5-- ch3, 1dc, ch2, 2dc, ch3, sc into ch5 loop, ch5, sc in same space, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next 2ch space. continue around ss in first ch2 space to close round. (6 v-stitch clusters, 6 ch5 loops)

Round 6-- *sc into v-stitch 2ch space, ch5 sc into same space ch5 loop made, ch4 sc into ch5 space, ch5, sc in same space ch5 loop made* continue around ss into the first sc to close round. (12 ch5 loops)

Round 7-- sc into ch5 loop, ch2, sc into loop, ch3, sc into loop, ch4 sc into loop, ch3, sc into loop, ch 2 sc into loop--first short lacy point made, ch2 pull up the ch3 from rounds 4&5 and the ch4 from round 6, sc, ch2, sc into next 5ch loop, 2dc, sc, ch5, sc in 3rd chain from the hook, first picot made, ch5 make second picot, ch5 make third picot, ch4, sc into loop, 2dc, sc, first picot point made, ch2, pull ch3 from rounds 4&5 and the ch4 from round 6, ch2 continue around, ss into first sc, tie off. Weave in ends.
